Whirring city sounds turn to silence.
Faces in crowd are blurred
In a moment, everything is out of focus,
My eyes heavy, my legs tired.
Standing in the crowd
I can't see any thing but bright light
Not a breeze touches my face
Just a storm inside.
Silent, unattached, solitary I walk
In slow motion, or has it stopped
No, its still beating, my little heart.
I blink and the sounds come back
horns blaring, smoke spewing.
Faces still unfamiliar
Reassuring to be back, or is it?

Dear nm - As few caps as possible. Why "Poems" with a capital "P"?
